It’s A Girl for Webb Simpson And His Wife

Webb Simpson’s wife, Dowd, gave birth to the couple’s second child on Saturday. The U.S. Open winner’s agent told the Associated Press that mother and daughter, Willow Grace, were fine, while Simpson took to Twitter to announce that “daddygotalilgirl.”

Simpson, who withdrew from the British Open to be with Dowd as she neared their daughter’s birth date, will likely make his next start at the PGA Championship Aug 9-12 at South Carolina’s Kiawah Island Resort. The couple’s first child, James, was born in 2011.
