Tiger Woods is now out on the course and making his way through the front nine of his final Sunday round at The Barclays. It’s been an eventful start for Woods, who has hit it all over the yard and did not make a par on his first five holes.

Woods’ first tee shot was extremely wild and landed deep in the gallery next to a pretzel cart. He was surrounded by the rowdy New York patrons for his second shot, which he pulled into the thick rough. Tiger immediately went from his follow-through to glare-through of some snapping photographers who were within five feet of his set up. It’s clear he was bothered by the close quarters. He finished the hole with a bogey, which he would also card on No. 3 and No. 5.
The rollercoaster round went bogey-birdie through the first five holes. Tiger’s approach shot stuck within five feet on No. 2 for birdie and he drained a long putt on No. 4 for his second red number of the day. He’s currently at 1-over for the day and 3-under for the championship, seven shots back of leader Sergio Garcia. As Jason Day demonstrated, there are some low numbers available out there but his wild start has likely eliminated that low figure for Woods.
