If Tiger Woods didn’t already consider his lead in the Official World Golf Rankings comfortable, he can rest even easier after increasing his lead with another strong showing this week. While he lost in a playoff with Zach Johnson in the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge, Woods’ score in the rankings jumped from 11.891 to 12.340, while Adam Scott’s score in second place dropped from 10.130 to 9.998.
Official World Golf Rankings 2013: Tiger Woods increases lead
Tiger Woods already had a comfortable lead at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings and increased it on Sunday.

With only a few weeks remaining in the 2013 season, Woods appears uncatchable; however, Henrik Stenson may have an opportunity to challenge Scott for the second spot in the rankings.
That will depend on whether or not Stenson and/or Scott play in another tournament before the end of the season, but Sunday’s result closed the gap between the two golfers some.
