Rory McIlroy said in his professional career he had never seen anything like the snow that covered Dove Mountain with some two inches in about an hour on Wednesday. More than likely, he was also unprepared to be on the receiving end of a snowball, which his eventual first-round playing partner and good pal Shane Lowry fired his way as No. 1 chatted with a reporter.
