Tiger Woods’ golf game had President Obama still shaking his head in admiration and disbelief on Wednesday, three days after the two heavyweights teed it up together for the first time.
Tiger Woods’ golf game is on “another planet,” says Barack Obama

“He plays a different game than I do,” Obama, whose enthusiasm for golf rivals that of the former No. 1, told ABC7 Newsin San Francisco (at 5:59 in the accompanying video) about Sunday’s team competition that the president and the world’s most recognizable golfer won. “He is on another planet.”

Ahead of this week’s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, Woods said golfing with Obama was “pretty cool” and praised his playing partner’s game, saying that with practice, the nation’s First Duffer could wield a “pretty good stick.”
Much to the “extreme frustration” of some members of the White House press corps, Woods and Obama avoided reporters when they took to the links at Floridian National Golf Club with Jim Crane, owner of the exclusive retreat and the Houston Astros, and former cabinet member Ron Kirk.
As for Mr. President, he seemed to take the historic occasion pretty much in stride.
“I don’t think either party was nervous,” he said. “He knew that I wasn’t a big threat to his world ranking and I knew that I better keep my day job.”
