Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn confirmed their dating relationship on Twitter and Facebook to beat the swarms of stalking paparazzi at their own game, the world No. 2 said Wednesday.
Tiger Woods, Lindsey Vonn stick it to the “Stalkerazzi”
Tiger Woods tells paparazzi to shove it by going public about his relationship with Lindsey Vonn.

By posting their own “first photographs” of themselves, Woods and Vonn ensured that tabloid photogs would not cash in on the new couple’s relationship.
“It’s very simple,” Woods told reporters gathered at Bay Hill for this week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational. “We’re very happy where were at but also we wanted to limit the ‘stalkerazzi’ and all those sleazy websites that are out there following us.
“I’ve had situations where it’s been very dangerous for my kids and the extent that [the paparazzi] will go to. We basically devalued the first photos and unfortunately that’s just the way it is in our society right now.
“We felt that it was the best thing to do and we’re very happy about it,” said Woods, who, since his 2009 sex scandal went viral, has had more than a passing familiarity with having his private life exposed on TMZ and other outlets.
As for whether Vonn and Woods, who will climb over Rory McIlroy to the top of the world rankings with a win this week, will ask the golfing half of “Wozzilroy” for tips on life as sports’ new power couple, they’ll just play it by ear.
“Do I plan on it?” Woods asked with a smile. “No.”
