D.A. Points finished at 16-under overall after a brief rain delay Sunday to win the the 2013 Shell Houston Open. Points began the day one shot behind leaders Stewart Cink and Bill Haas, but passed them with six birdies to finish at 6-under on the day. Henrik Stenson and Billy Horschel also shot 6-under, and finished in a tied for second place at 15-under overall.

Points shot 6-under on Sunday to win the 2013 Shell Houston Open, despite some interference from Mother Nature. He beat out the likes of Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker and Phil Mickelson.


Points beat out a strong field of competitors that included the likes of Keegan Bradley (2-under, 11-under overall), Louis Oosthuizen (2-under, 11-under overall), Phil Mickelson (4-under, 10-under overall), Steve Stricker (1-under, 5-under overall) and Rory McIlroy (2-under, 4-under overall), all of whom are tuning up for the start of the Masters at Augusta in less than two weeks.
Dustin Johnson shot the lowest score of the day, finishing at 7-under and 14-under overall in a fourth place tie with Ben Crane, two strokes behind Points. You can check out the full results over at PGATour.com. The top-10 finishers are listed below:
