On what may be the most controversial day in Masters history, Tiger Woods will attempt to play his way back to the top of the leaderboard, trailing Jason Day by 5 shots. Tiger left the course last night trailing by only three shots, but an overnight debate on an questionable drop at No. 15 resulted in a two-stroke penalty for the No. 1 player in the world.
2013 Masters odds: Tiger Woods still favored after 2-stroke penalty
A five-shot deficit with 36 holes to play is not enough to knock Tiger from favored status.

But even with the two-shot ding, Tiger remains the favorite to win the green jacket on Sunday afternoon. According to Bovada, Woods is now a 4/1 favorite, edging out leader Jason Day, who is 11/2. Brandt Snedeker, Rory McIlroy, and Adam Scott round out the favored top 5. Five shots is certainly not an insurmountable lead, but it’s a significant margin for any other player. With 36 holes to play, however, it’s not enough to knock Tiger out of favored status.
