Zurich Classic of New Orleans: Tee times, TV schedule for Sunday’s restart

Sunday’s final round will resume on a soggy layout that should yield lots of birdies over the final nine holes.

The word at TPC Louisiana is that play during Sunday’s final round of the 2013 Zurich Classic will resume at 2:30 p.m. ET. Storms hit the New Orleans area around 11:30 a.m. ET, and the horn was sounded, calling players off the course early in their final 18.

The PGA Tour pushed up the final round tee times in order to avoid yet another Monday finish. The players went off split tees in groups of three, beginning at 7 a.m. local time (CT). The final group, comprised of Lucas Glover, Jimmy Walker, and Kyle Stanley finished five holes before players were pulled off the course.

The Tour had already instituted lift, clean, and place regulations for the final round and the morning storms dumped a significant amount of additional water on the lengthy layout. With those conditions and the ball-in-hand rules in play, expect plenty more birdies coming into the house. The leading score is currently 14-under, but that could work its way up towards 20-under by the end of the day. Here’s a current snapshot of the leaderboard as the players get set to restart:

Player Score Thru
Lucas Glover -14 5
Boo Weekley -13 6
Billy Horschel -13 6
D.A. Points -13 6
Jimmy Walker -13 5
Ken Looper -12 6
Kyle Stanley -12 5
Aaron Watkins -11 14
Nicolas Colsaerts -11 11
D.H. Lee -11 9
Justin Rose -11 8
Bubba Watson -9 13
Ernie Els -9 11
Rickie Fowler -7 10
Jason Dufner -6 8

CBS will carry the broadcast from it’s regularly scheduled time of 3 p.m. ET to 6 p.m., with play likely ending a little early if there are no more weather delays.
