Matt Kuchar didn’t have the same strong performance he had in each of the first two rounds at the 2013 Crowne Plaza Invitational, but his 1-under score on Saturday was enough to stay on top of the leaderboard entering the final round of the tournament.
2013 Crowne Plaza Invitational scores: Matt Kuchar hangs on to lead in 3rd round
Kuchar had his worst round of the tournament so far, but still sits atop the leaderboard at the Crowne Plaza Invitational.

Kuchar recorded three birdies, but with consecutive bogeys on the front nine, he couldn’t maintain a strangehold on the lead. Instead Matt Every, Chris Stroud, Boo Weekley and Graham DeLaet will all enter Sunday just one stroke off the top spot. Behind that group are four more golfers just two strokes off the lead, including Martin Flores and Tim Clark.
Flores and Clark finished with the best scores on Saturday, both knocking in six birdies and one bogey to finish with a 65. The strong performance was enough to launch the pair from 30th into the top 10.
Heading in the opposite direction were Marc Leishman, John Huh and Ken Duke, who entered the third round in the top 10, but dropped out of contention with poor performances on Saturday. Three consecutive bogeys for Leishman and a triple-bogey for Huh cost the pair 33 spots each on the leaderboard, while Duke fell to 40th.
Coverage of Sunday’s final round will begin on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET before switching to CBS at 3 p.m. The full leaderboard can be found on PGATour.com, along with tee times for the final round.
