Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn will show off their blossoming relationship Monday night when the superstar golfer and skier walk the red carpet for the first time together at the Met Gala, according to US Weekly.

Woods, who last hit a golf ball in competition at the Masters, took the ensuing time off in preparation for this week’s Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. With the home of the infamous par-3 17th island green flooded from days of heavy rain, where else would Tiger be but beside his new flame as they rub elbows with the likes of Hollywood A-listers Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jessica Alba?

Vonn and the 14-time major champion took their relationship public via Twitter and Facebook in March. While Vonn trekked around Augusta to watch Tiger play the Masters last month, Monday night will mark the official debut of the two superstars as sports’ new power couple (move over, Wozzilroy).

Wonder if the king of Nike will add a swoosh to whatever fashionable duds his host, Vogue, stitches together for him?

As for all talk about The Players being the PGA Tour’s “fifth major,” Woods appearance at the star-studded affair a few short days before the tourney kicks off would seem to put that nonsense to rest.
