2013 FedEx Cup standings: Tiger Woods still leads heading into U.S. Open

The top three of the FedEx Cup standings remains unchanged, with Tiger Woods still at the top.

Tiger Woods remains atop the FedEx Cup standings after few of the world’s best players took part in the FedEx St. Jude Classic over the weekend.

Woods has a 423-point lead despite playing in only eight events, six fewer than second place Matt Kuchar. That is because Woods has won four of the eight tournaments he’s entered and has another top-10 to boost his point total.

Kuchar’s two wins have him in second place, while Brandt Snedeker is in third place, 871 points behind Woods. Billy Horschel is in fourth place and Phil Mickelson rounds out the top five after moving up two spots following a second place finish this weekend in the FedEx St. Jude Classic.

This weekend’s winner, Harris English, shot up the FedEx Cup standings from No. 72 to No. 13. It was English’s first career PGA Tour win. Scott Stallings finished tied with Mickelson in second place and also saw a nice bump up the standings, going from 57th place to 24th.
