The top of the U.S. Open leaderboard is loaded with notable players as the leaders enter the back stretch of the third round. Charl Schwartzel and Luke Donald remain tied for the lead at 2-under, but five players are now in the red.

Of the seven players currently at even-par or better, six are ranked in the top 22 of the latest World Golf Rankings. Schwartzel is now 2-under through 15 holes and is currently on a string of five straight pars. At 3-under, Schwartzel is tied for the best round of the day. Donald is mere inches away from being 3 or even 4-under as he had birdie putts at No. 13 and No. 14 just miss.

Phil Mickelson remains even par on the day and one stroke back of the leaders. Mickelson missed a good birdie opportunity at No. 13, but has now gone eight holes without dropping a shot. While many players struggle down the stretch at Merion, Mickelson has played the final five holes at 1-under this week. Hunter Mahan and Justin Rose continue to play well on Saturday and joined Mickleson at 1-under.

Here is a look at the current leaderboard and a few other notable names.
