It took two playoff holes, but Ken Duke finally has a win on the PGA Tour.

Duke appeared to have the win in hand after 18 holes, shooting a 4-under 66 to finish 12-under par, but Chris Stroud chipped in a birdie on the 18th hole to force a playoff. In the playoff, Duke’s first drive went into the rough on the left side, while Stroud landed it in the middle of the fairway. The tables turned on the second shot, though — Duke recovered with a solid approach shot on the green, while Stroud missed and hit the bunker. Both players made their par putts to force a second playoff hole.
On the second hole, Stroud hit his drive about 350 yards and appeared to be in control, but Duke’s second shot was a thing of beauty, landing about three feet away from the flag. He tapped in an easy birdie putt to secure the win.
Bubba Watson had the lead for most of the day, but a triple bogey on the 16th hole ended his chances. He finished in fourth place with 10-under par.
At 44 years old, Duke is the oldest first-time winner since Ed Dougherty in 1995.
