Zach Johnson has run into some trouble early in his second round, but is still at the top of the leaderboard. Johnson is 4-under for the tournament, good enough for a share of the lead.
2013 British Open leaderboard: Zach Johnson, Angel Cabrera tied for lead
Despite a pair of early bogeys, Zach Johnson is still in the lead at the British Open, but he has company at the top.

After beginning his round with a bogey, Johnson appeared to settle in with two pars and a birdie on his next three holes. However, like he did at the first hole, Johnson hit his tee shot into the rough on No. 5 and it cost him. After posting an eagle on No. 5 on Thursday, Johnson bogeyed the hole Friday.
As he seems to be at every major championship, Angel Cabrera is in contention. Cabrera birdied No. 1 to move to 1-under on the round and another birdie at No. 5 moved him into a share of the lead. Cabrera finished with six birdies on Thursday and could potentially post a low number if he’s able to avoid bogeys. He’s done well so far with three pars and two birdies.
Bubba Watson has been up-and-down all day. After three birdies, two bogeys and four pars on the front nine, Watson made the turn at 1-under on the day and was tied for fifth place. He didn’t stay in the red for long as a double bogey on No. 10 dropped him to even overall. Phil Mickelson’s second round has been eventful. He got off to a rough start with a three-putt double bogey on No. 2. Mickelson got one back on No. 4, but a bogey on the sixth moved him back to even-par for the tournament.
Only 11 players are currently under par, with the projected cut line rising to 6-over. Here is a quick snapshot of the current leaderboard.
