The Greenbrier Classic leaderboard: Tommy Gainey alone at the top thru 10

Tommy Gainey stands alone atop the leaderboard at the 2013 Greenbrier Classic through 10 holes Friday. Phil Mickelson, meanwhile, is in serious danger of missing the cut.

Tommy Gainey is alone at the top of the Greenbrier Classic leaderboard through 10 holes, after entering Friday in a tie with Johnson Wagner. Teeing off on the back nine in the afternoon, Gainey made birdie on No. 12 and No. 14 to extend his lead to 10-under overall, two strokes ahead of Wagner, Daniel Summerhays, Bill Lunde and Steven Bowditch. Wagner, also starting on the back nine, has a bogey on No. 11 and a birdie on No. 15 through seven holes. The other three men have all finished for the day.

Phil Mickelson will likely miss the cut at Old White TPC. He shot 2-under on the day to finish at 2-overall. The cut is currently projected at 1-under.

The biggest risers of the day include Jimmy Walker and D.A. Points. Both men shot 5-under to make big moves up the leaderboard. Walker is currently tied for ninth at 6-under overall. Points is tied for 14th at 5-under overall.
