The second round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational begins Friday. Webb Simpson holds the lead after shooting a 6-under 64 in Thursday’s opening round. Tiger Woods sits just two strokes behind at 4-under and will likely be in the hunt all weekend. Despite struggling in the majors, Woods is still having a dominant year, winning four PGA Tour events and leading in the FedEx Cup standings.

The Bridgestone Invitational heads into its second round on Friday, and there are plenty of options to watch on both TV and online.


On the other side of the coin, Phil Mickelson had a day to forget. The British Open champion shot a 2-over 72, including five bogeys, and currently sits in a tie for 41st. Matt Kuchar also shot a 72. Both golfers have work to do on Friday if they are going to be in contention during the weekend.
Like the other WGC events, the Bridgestone Invitational includes a stellar field and attracts plenty of interest. Friday’s broadcast will include four hours of live coverage, which will also be available online.
