2013 Barclays live stream: How to watch Thursday’s round online

Viewers tuning in to the first round of The Barclays will have more online viewing options than they would on TV.

Sam Greenwood

The Barclays begins on Thursday and if viewers are interested in watching any of the players in the morning waves play live, they will have to watch online and even then coverage will be limited.

The FedExCup Playoffs begin with the first round of The Barclays and there will be two online streams on Thursday. Golf Channel will broadcast three hours of live first-round coverage and that broadcast will also be available online via a simulcast from Golf Live Extra. The simulcast is scheduled to run from 3 to 6 p.m. ET.

Live coverage of the players teeing off in the morning, including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, will be extremely limited. PGATour.com will provide an online stream of holes No. 1 and No. 14, giving viewers the ability to watch a couple of holes. The stream will begin at 8 a.m. and run until 6 p.m.

There will also be six hours of radio coverage on Thursday. Here is the complete list of first-round viewing options.
