2013 Barclays golf leaderboard: Kevin Stadler leads, Freddie Jacobson challenging

The second round at The Barclays is just getting underway, thanks to Thursday’s weather delays. Freddie Jacobson birdied two of his first three holes Friday to put pressure on the top of the leaderboard.

The second round at The Barclays is finally underway, after two long weather delays Thursday pushed the end of the first round into Friday morning. The likes of leader Kevin Stadler (7-under) and Tiger Woods (4-under) won’t tee off until the middle of the afternoon, allowing plenty of time for other golfers to shake up the leaderboard.

Freddie Jacobson got his second round off to a good start, making birdies on No. 2 and No. 3 to move to 5-under overall, just two shots back from Stadler. Ryan Moore also had an early birdie to move to 5-under, but bogeyed No. 3 to drown down a spot on the leaderboard.

Ben Crane still has one hole to play in Round 1. He hit a bogey on No. 16 to drop back down into the fray at 4-under. Aaron Baddeley and Stuart Appleby are also still finishing out the opening 18 holes. They are both at 3-under through 17 and 16 holes, respectively.
