2013 Barclays golf leaderboard: Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia fired up Friday

Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia have been two of the fastest risers up The Barclays leaderboard Friday, though overall leader Kevin Stadler still has yet to tee off.

Early action at The Barclays on Friday has seen Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia make big moves up the leaderboard. Fowler started the day at even-par, but has shot 6-under through 12 holes to come within one stroke of current leader Kevin Stadler. Garcia was 1-under entering the day, and is now two strokes off the lead after shooting 4-under through 11 holes.

Both golfers have already recorded eagles on the day. Fowler gained two strokes on the top of the leaderboard on the par-5 No. 13. He went on to birdie his next three holes. Garcia made eagle on No. 6, also a par 5, and went on to close the front nine at 4-under.

Stadler remains in the lead without having teed off yet. His day will begin at 4:17 p.m. ET. Tiger Woods is currently three shots back. He will tee off at 4:06 p.m.
