The Barclays leaderboard: Adam Scott, Justin Rose, and Tiger Woods making Sunday charges
The cream is rising to the top late on Sunday at the Barclays, where the leaderboard continues to shuffle.

A shuffling leaderboard has been a common theme this afternoon, with Kevin Chappell momentarily jumping out to a two-shot lead at 13-under before falling back with a double bogey. Rose, Scott, Chappell, and 54-hole leader Gary Woodland make up the group in the lead at 11-under, but three other giants in the sport -- Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, and Jim Furyk -- are still out on the course chasing within two shots of the lead.
Tiger is just a shot back now after watching his playing partner, Chappell, drop two shots on the 11th hole. Woods charged out on the front side, going out in 3-under 33 to put the pressure on the final group behind him. A bogey as he made the turn at No. 10 stunted the momentum, but Chappell’s double opened the doors again and it’s now crowded up top on the back nine.
Rose and Scott were completely off the radar, barely a part of the CBS coverage, but the season’s first two major champions have played bogey-free golf so far on Sunday and are on pace for rounds in the mid-60s. Phil Mickelson set the early pace on Sunday, firing a 65 to make some noise and finish at 9-under. The possibility for an unlikely comeback took a hit with a bogey on the final hole, and with the world-class players ahead of him and the birdie chances out on the course, he’s almost certainly done for the day. Here’s where things stand everyone now on the back nine:
