2013 BMW championship: TV schedule and coverage for Saturday’s round

It’s unlikely another player will match the 59 Jim Furyk shot on Friday, but if they do, viewers will be able to watch most of it live with extended television coverage. NBC joins the fray with the tournament heading to the weekend, meaning an extra two hours of coverage.

Players will be back on the course shortly after 7 a.m. ET with the television broadcast beginning a few hours later at 1 p.m. Golf Channel will handle the first two hours of the broadcast with coverage switching to NBC at 3 p.m. NBC’s coverage will continue through the rest of the round, to at least 6 p.m.

Players near the top of the leaderboard will begin teeing off around noon, meaning viewers can see most of their rounds live. Furyk is tied for the lead with Brandt Snedeker, and the two are set to hit the course at 12:50 p.m. Tiger Woods, playing with Sergio Garcia, will tee off at 11:50 a.m., slightly more than an hour before television coverage begins.

Fans won’t be limited to watching the broadcasts on a TV as both the Golf Channel and NBC broadcast can be streamed online via Golf Live Extra. There will also be radio coverage from PGA Tour Radio on Sirius-XM from 12 to 6 p.m.
