The 2013 PGA Tour season wraps up this week in Atlanta, where there are 30 players left in the FedExCup Playoffs. Each golfer has a chance to win the $10 million playoff prize, but only the top five have total control and automatically win it all with a win at the Tour Championship, the playoff finale. Those five are Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott, Zach Johnson and Matt Kuchar. Based on their work this regular season and postseason, they have the inside track for an overall playoffs win, holding that automatic card and needing the least amount of help if they don’t beat out the other 29 players.
TOUR Championship 2013 odds: Tiger Woods, Adam Scott FedExCup favorites again
To the surprise of no one, Tiger Woods and Adam Scott are the favorites for the fourth and final PGA Tour postseason event.

Tiger Woods, who’s gone 0-for-3 in the postseason so far, remains the heavy favorite to win at East Lake. Given that Woods is No. 1 in FedExCup points, a win would result in almost an $11.5 million payday, when combining the overall playoffs cash and the individual tournament cash. The world No. 1 looked better in Chicago at the BMW Championship, staying inside the top 10 and in contention until a pedestrian Sunday even-par round of 71. That was a big improvement over his 65th-place finish in the prior playoff event in Boston, where he lost his grip on the top FEC points spot. Back at No. 1, the 2013 five-time winner is a 5/1 favorite to get his sixth win of the season this week. For the third straight week, Adam Scott slots in behind Woods as the player with the second-lowest odds.
This is the best chance of the year for anyone in an event’s field to get a win, and it’s hard to call someone a long shot with just 30 golfers competing. D.A. Points and Boo Weekley, however, have the honor of holding the highest odds this week. Neither has played particularly well of late, but it’s still a huge achievement just to get to Atlanta, while big names like Ernie Els, Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler are all at home.
