It was not a good day for Tiger Woods at the TOUR Championship. The No. 1 player in the world was awful from tee-to-green from the first hole to the 18th hole, finishing without a birdie for just the seventh time in more than 1,000 PGA Tour rounds. He was also the only player in the field to not make a birdie in the opening round. Tiger is in second-to-last place and nine shots back of Henrik Stenson, who started one spot behind Woods as the No. 2 player in the FedExCup standings.
A tense Tiger Woods watches himself hit another horrible drive
An appropriate image for Tiger’s miserable day in Atlanta.

And that misery makes the above photo even more apropos: A strained Tiger following through with his notoriously wild driver, while a tense Tiger and suspect Jason Dufner watch on in the background. The photo was take on the 10th tee, and as you’d expect, Tiger’s ball was bombed way right over the cart path into the rough, and he went on to make the second of his three bogeys on the round.
