By winning the 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship, Henrik Stenson took over the lead of the FedExCup standings. He also took home a large paycheck, winning the $1.44 million first-place prize.

With an $8 million purse, the Deutsche Bank Championship’s payout is similar to a major championship. Stenson is having an excellent year and his first PGA Tour win of the year took his season earnings to more than $4.9 million. He’ll move into fifth place on the money list, jumping ahead of Adam Scott who won last week at The Barclays.
Stenson claimed the biggest prize, but he’s far from the only one walking away with a sizable paycheck. Steve Stricker finished second and by doing so, won $864,000. Stricker has played a limited schedule in 2013, playing in just 11 events. Still, he’s played well all year, and his finish at the Deutsche Bank takes his season earnings to more than $3.4 million.
The hefty payouts continue throughout the top 10 with each of the top seven finishers taking home more than $300,000. The top 20 players all earned more than $100,000. Here is the entire list of payouts.
