Inclement weather forced a change to Saturday’s schedule at the TOUR Championship and players will now hit the course early in the morning in order to avoid a delay and get the round in.
TOUR Championship 2013: Tee times and pairings for Saturday’s third round
With trouble in the forecast, the third round of the TOUR Championship will begin earlier than expected.

Heavy rain is in the forecast for the late afternoon with a chance of thunderstorms. Not wanting to delay the third round and possibly postpone the finish of the round to Sunday morning, tournament officials made the decision to move tee times up and have players play in groups of three. Players will begin hitting the course at 7:30 a.m. ET, and play is expected to be finished by 2 p.m.
Tiger Woods will begin the round tied for 26th place. He’ll need two solid rounds to finish the tournament if he’s going to climb up the leaderboard and still have a shot to win the FedExCup. He’ll play in the second group of the day along with Matt Kuchar and Jason Dufner.
Henrik Stenson is currently in prime position to win both the TOUR Championship and the FedExCup. He holds a four-stroke lead through 36 holes and will win the $10 million FedExCup prize if he holds on. He’s scheduled to tee off at 9 a.m., playing along with Adam Scott and Jordan Spieth.
