At 27 years old, Keegan Bradley is already one of the more decorated American golfers on the PGA Tour. Bradley has a major championship win, earned in 2011 at the PGA, along with two other PGA Tour victories, including a coveted WGC title. He has also emerged as a key figure for the U.S. in the international team events, at both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup the last two years.

Bradley, however, is coming off a winless season in which he came close to a fourth Tour victory on multiple occasions, but still ended the year empty-handed. As most do, Bradley has professed a renewed focus to get back in the win column this year and go big.
The New Englander is starting 2014 in Southern California at the Humana Challenge, and on Friday afternoon, he added another, albeit smaller, accomplishment to his resume: his first hole-in-one on the Tour. Bradley pulled an 8-iron on the par-3, 177-yard third hole at the PGA West Nicklaus Course, and perfectly lofted his ball up on the slope above the cup (video via PGATour).
And that’s a quick and easy way to jump two strokes up the board.
Bradley is currently 9-under at the annual birdie-fest that is the Humana Challenge (nee Bob Hope Classic). Even with his first-career Tour ace, he’s still got a lot of work to do to chase down the red hot Patrick Reed, who posted yet another 63 to run out to 18-under after 36 holes.
