While much of the United States continues to deal with harsh weather conditions, the PGA Tour players are having no such issues this week at Riviera Country Club. Viewers will get a temporary reprieve from the snow and cold with more than four hours of live television coverage.
2014 Northern Trust Open streaming: How to watch online, TV schedule and more
The Northern Trust Open heads to the weekend, and viewers will be able to watch the third round live, on TV or online.

A few players still need to complete their second rounds as play was suspended due to darkness on Friday. The third round will begin not long after with television coverage scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. The network will broadcast live until 2:30 p.m. Coverage will then shift to CBS at 3 p.m. with the broadcast running until 6 p.m. The coverage schedule will allow viewers to watch most of the lead groups in action, including Sang-Moon Bae, who opened Saturday with a one-stroke lead at 9-under. Aaron Baddeley, Dustin Johnson, Jim Furyk, Charl Schwartzel and Jordan Spieth are among the players in contention heading into the weekend.
Bae held a share of the second-round lead in this event last year before falling out of contention with a 5-over 76 in the third round. Whether he can avoid a similar fate this year remains to be seen, and viewers will have multiple options to follow along. In addition to the television broadcasts, the live coverage will also be available online. Golf Channel will have a simulcast of its coverage at Golf Live Extra while CBS’ coverage can be watched online at CBSSports.com.
Those unable to watch online or on television can still follow along thanks to PGA Tour Radio on Sirius-XM Radio. The radio broadcast is scheduled to run from noon to 6 p.m.
