At one point early in the third round, it appeared that Robert Garrigus was well on his way to running away with the Valspar Championship. He began the day with a three-stroke lead and three early birdies had him at 10-under. He failed to notch a birdie on his final 13 holes, however, and a pair of bogeys dropped him back toward the field. Now, he’ll carry a one-stroke lead into the final round with a handful of players not far behind.
