I have very little to add to or discern from this photo, other than it’s just the most recent entry to the ever-growing and amazing canon of Miguel-Angel Jimenez photos. The Spaniard is over in Kuala Lumpur serving in the role of playing captain for the first ever EurAsia Cup. It’s a new team match play event organized by the European Tour that’s trying to get some momentum behind the emerging talents from Asia.
The best of the many wonderful Miguel Angel Jimenez photos?
Another week and another wonderful photo of golf’s most delightful character.

Jimenez will undoubtedly be a future Ryder Cup captain, and is playing well enough right now to make it yet again as a player this fall in Scotland. His profile has skyrocketed in recent years as the “Most Interesting Golfer in the World” character took off. We’re used to the classic Jimenez pictures capturing him puffing a cigar, dancing, going through his bizarre stretching routine, and enjoying a glass of Rioja. There’s just been so much in the last 12 months alone.

— ESPN.co.uk (@ESPNUK) October 23, 2013 But right now, let’s just take in this moment of the Mechanic trying to hop out of contraption for a “simulated motor race” against Asian captain Thongchai Jaidee, who looks both amused and scared.
The photoshop opportunities are many with this candid of the Mechanic.
