Tiger Woods has become one of the more divisive athletes in the world, but I think I’ve found his biggest group of boosters. Jamie Squire of Getty captured this group of Tiger fans on Thursday at Doral during the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami, with full Sunday uniform and face paint for the kids.
We’ve found the first family of Tiger Woods superfans
This is a commitment rarely seen in a golf crowd.

Bob Harig of ESPN also caught up with the noted TW enthusiasts who lined the ropes, presumably following the No. 1 player in the world:

— Bob Harig (@BobHarig) March 6, 2014 At last year’s Masters, we caught this airbrushed tiger t-shirt but the face paint definitely takes it to another level.
It’s good thing that Tiger, who had not taken a swing all week and was questionable to play, actually made it to the first tee and has been largely unaffected by the back spasms that forced him out of the final round at last week’s Honda Classic.
