The RBC Heritage is one of the PGA Tour’s great annual stops, hosted at one of the country’s best courses, Harbour Town. When tour pros are polled, it’s always ranked near the top or as the favorite annual course they play. There are always some mixed opinions on Pete Dye designs, but this original is almost universally loved. It’s a shorter, classic layout that changes things up a bit from the often monotonous lengthy TPC courses that are week-to-week staples now.
RBC Heritage 2014 live stream: How to watch online, TV coverage and more
Jordan Spieth, in the hunt again after 18 holes at Harbour Town, should headline the late afternoon coverage of the RBC Heritage on Friday.

The love of the course and this event continues to draw a pretty loaded field for a tournament coming right on the heels of the first major of the season. Being a tour pro isn’t the most taxing job in the world, but most of the top players generally take the week off after a major championship and relax. It also helps that the title sponsor has deals with a stable of impressive players, Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk, Hunter Mahan, Ernie Els, Graeme McDowell, Luke Donald, Brandt Snedeker among them. Those guys all typically show up to this tourney and the RBC Canadian Open, fulfilling their duties as “brand ambassadors” or whatever they’re called. It adds field depth to an already good event at a great course.
Most of those headliners will be out in the morning wave on Friday before TV coverage begins. The biggest name in the afternoon draw is Jordan Spieth, the well-known prospect whose profile rocketed last week during his run at the Masters. The 20-year-old is playing with a couple Champions Tour eligible players this week, Tom Watson and Davis Love III. They tee off at 12:40 p.m. ET, so they should be making the turn as Golf Channel goes live at 3 p.m. Spieth is currently T5 at 2-under, in fine position and chasing a trio of leaders at 5-under. He was already becoming one of the top draws, but after his showing at the Masters, he’ll continue to be the guy people follow most, especially with Tiger out.
In addition to the three-hour afternoon broadcast window, Golf Channel will also have their usual simulcast stream up and running via their LiveExtra service. Here are your media options for the second round at Hilton Head:
