Zurich Classic 2014 live stream: How to watch online, TV coverage and more

The Zurich Classic rolls on with the second round on Friday and once again, Golf Channel will provide online and television coverage.

The Zurich Classic may not be one of the most-notable PGA Tour events of the year and TPC Louisiana might be a rather bland track, but the tournament is great for those who like birdies. Scores routinely dip into the teens during the tournament and they are well on their way there again with 10 players 5-under or better through the first round.

No player made more birdies on Thursday than Ben Martin, who scorched the TPC course, carding a 10-under round of 62. That was good enough to break the course record of 64, which Andrew Svoboda tied just hours earlier. Barring an unforeseen change in the weather, the birdie barrage will likely be back on on Friday. Viewers won’t be able to see Martin, Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Billy Horschel or a few other notable names play live as they are all set to tee off in the morning, well before live coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET. Svoboda will be part of the coverage with a 2:40 p.m. tee time, as will Retief Goosen, Keegan Bradley and Mike Weir. All will tee off at 1:30 p.m. or later.

Golf Channel’s television coverage is scheduled to run from 3 to 6 p.m. ET with a replay of the broadcast set to begin at 9:30 p.m. Viewers who are able to authenticate a cable subscription will be able to watch the broadcast online via a live online simulcast from Golf Chanel’s LiveExtra service. The most-extensive second-round coverage will come from PGA Tour Radio, which will broadcast from noon to 6 p.m. Here is a complete look at the second-round coverage:

Second round coverage:

Television: Golf Channel -- 3 to 6 p.m.

Online: Golf Live Extra -- 3 to 6 p.m.

Radio: PGA Tour Radio (Sirius-XM channel 208/93) -- 12 to 6 p.m.
