2014 Zurich Classic live stream: How to watch online, TV coverage and more

Ben Martin led after the first and second rounds. Will he be able to stay at the top of the leaderboard on Saturday? Viewers will be able to follow most of the action with extended live coverage.

Three players matched or bettered the previous TPC Louisiana course record during the first two rounds of the Zurich Classic and if scoring conditions remain optimal, viewers might be in store for more fireworks heading to the weekend. Low scores are nothing new at the Zurich Classic, but the tournament scoring record could be in jeopardy this weekend.

Ben Martin leads the way at 15-under with six players already in double-digit red figures. The winning score at the Zurich Classic typically hovers around 20-under, with Chip Beck setting the tournament record at 26-under in 1988. If Martin can keep up the pace he set during the first 36-holes, he’ll have a shot to break that mark. There is still a lot of golf to play before scoring records become a consideration, however, and it begins with the third round on Saturday.

Martin set a course record with a 10-under 62 on Thursday and followed it up with a 67 on Friday. Although he’s led wire-to-wire thus far, he’s never won a PGA Tour event. He’ll have plenty of challengers this weekend with 21 players within eight strokes of the lead. With scoring conditions the way they are, it’s difficult to rule out any of the players still around. Bo Van Pelt jumped from a tie for 114th after the first round to a tie for 12th after the second round thanks to a 9-under round of 63. Keegan Bradley at 9-under and Justin Rose at 6-under are among the notable names left in the field who could still challenge for the lead.

With the tournament heading to the weekend, television coverage will be extended from the customary three-hour broadcast during the first two rounds. Coverage will begin on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET where it will remain until 2:30 p.m. There will be a 30-minute blackout before coverage resumes on CBS at 3 p.m. The late groups will begin hitting the course around noon, so the majority of their rounds will occur during the live coverage. The television coverage will also be available online with live simulcast streams from LiveExtra and CBSSports.com.

In addition to the television and online coverage, PGA Tour Radio on Sirius-XM will once again provide radio coverage with the broadcast running from noon to 6 p.m. Here is a full breakdown of the media options for the third round. All times Eastern
