The real action at Augusta National won’t begin until Thursday, but viewers will be able to catch a taste of what’s to come sooner than that. Many players have already played a practice round or two, but players will head out on the course for official practice rounds beginning Monday and continuing through Wednesday. For most tournaments, practice rounds generate little to no interest. The Masters is not like most tournaments.
2014 Masters TV schedule: Practice rounds begin Monday
Players will officially begin their practice rounds at Augusta National, and fans can get a glimpse of the action with online and television coverage.

Although coverage won’t be to the level it will be later in the week, viewers can watch some of the action from the course and practice range. The coverage on Monday will consist of Masters on the Range. The show, which will be available online and on TV, will originate from the Masters practice area, relatively new multi-million dollar facility. It will feature interviews with players and analysis of what’s happening on the range and what’s to come with the 97-player field.
The broadcast will be available as part of the Masters Live coverage from CBSSports.com and Masters.com. There will be a live stream of the broadcast on Monday at both websites from noon to 2 p.m. ET along with a live television broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
In addition to the live coverage, Masters Live will provide highlights of player press conferences, which are scheduled to begin on Monday (Jason Day and Patrick Reed are two that are confirmed).
Monday’s Masters coverage:
Online: Masters on the Range - Noon to 2 p.m., CBSSports.com, Masters.com
