A day after many took their truncated practice laps around Augusta National, players will be out on the course for a first full day of practice on Tuesday. Monday was basically a complete wash-out, with rain pelting Augusta for seven hours and the course closing for players, and club gates for the patrons, well before Noon. The weather is supposed to be perfect for the rest of the week, but Monday’s lost day makes Tuesday that more important. Viewers not in attendance won’t be able to watch the action live like they will later in the week, but there will be television and online coverage from Augusta National.
Masters 2014 TV schedule: Practice rounds continue on Tuesday
Players will be back on the course and in the media room on Tuesday with the start of the Masters quickly approaching.

The Masters
CBS Sports Network, CBSSports.com and Masters.com will air Masters on the Range from 9 to 11 a.m. ET. The show will be broadcast from the practice area at Augusta National and include player interviews, some live shots from the range and course, highlights of Masters past, and analysis of what’s to come.
Practice rounds can have a significant effect on the tournament itself. Players will work on different things in a variety of settings across the ANGC grounds. Some will focus on a certain element of their game that needs to improve. Others will practice a shot they’ll have on the course that they may not frequently hit. They will also do plenty of work on the course itself, getting an idea of sight lines, slopes and a feel for the greens. Many players in the field have played Augusta National dozens of times. Even without major changes this year, refreshing the various aspects of the course is important. So important, some players -- including Phil Mickelson -- flew into Augusta last week to get some time on the layout they already know so well.
In addition to sharpening their games, select players will take their turns through the media room with pre-tournament press conferences continuing. Adam Scott is scheduled to talk at 11 a.m. ET, Rory McIlroy at 1:45 p.m., and Mickelson at 2:30 p.m. Those are the three favorites this year, all fielding questions before Scott serves his Champions Dinner Tuesday night.
