Miguel Angel Jimenez dog whistles his ball back to the hole at Masters Par-3 contes

The most interesting golfer in the world successfully whistles his ball back to the cup.

Harry How

Miguel Angel Jimenez is 50-years old but he’s still probably the coolest guy in the Masters field this week. We write about the Mechanic almost every week, whether it’s his stretching routine, penchant for cigars as he warms up and Rioja as he walks off the course, or just the bizarre and hilarious photos he’s caught in.

At the par-3 contest, Jimenez added to our Mechanic library by whistling his ball back down the green as if he’s trying to summon his pup. He lofted his tee shot up and over the pin, started shouting at it in Spanish, and then whistled it all the way back down towards the cup. The video:

Jimenez, who is playing with fellow Spaniard and senior circuit-eligible Jose Maria Olazabal, would tap in for a birdie but that was all secondary.
