Regis Jesuit of Aurora defeated Boulder 63-59 on Saturday in Class 5A championship to become the first Colorado school in over 60 years to win boys state titles three years in a row in one of the state’s larger classifications.

Boulder (25-3), which had won 21 straight games, cut the lead to two points in the final 10 seconds but never got a chance to tie or take the lead. Its leading scorer Saturday was Riley Grabau, who had 26 points, six rebounds and three assists.
