Yasiel Puig hit a triple

Congratulations to Yasiel Puig for hitting baseball’s first triple!

From Wikipedia:

In baseball, a triple is the act of a batter safely reaching third base after hitting the ball, with neither the benefit of a fielder’s misplay (see error) nor another runner being put out on a fielder’s choice.

Fascinating. And here’s a Benny Hill version of the triple:

The Dodgers scored the first run in National League Championship Series history on this play, sources confirm. So soak it up, Los Angeles. You’ve earned it.

(And, yes, I do like that baseball has that one guy who always seems to do stuff like this. That one guy makes this interesting. Spice of life. But I still get to make fun of him for acting like a donkey butt.)
