World Series odds: Red Sox slight favorites over Cardinals

Rusty Jarrett

Here we go. The last odds post of the 2013 season. These are provided by the good folks at Bovada, and they’re for entertainment purposes only. Unless you want to put your money where your mouth is. That is, if you’re not yellow. C’mon, make a few bets. You can miss one mortgage payment, right?

The Red Sox are slight favorites in the World Series, with 5/7 odds compared to the Cardinals at 6/5. That means ... wait ... the numerator over the ... no, the denominator ... no ... I don’t know exactly what’s going on, but I know that 5/7 odds pay less on a win compared to 6/5 odds. So the Red Sox are the favorites.
