Boys of Summer, ten years later

You might remember a documentary from 2004 called Boys of Summer, embedded above, about a son accompanying his father, recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, on a road trip to all 30 major-league ballparks.

There’s a sequel planned, and a Kickstarter to get it going or “kickstart it”, if you will. You can read about the details at that link, and you can donate as little as $5.

If you’re not sure about contributing money to the sequel of a documentary you’ve never seen, take the time to watch the first one. It’s free, fascinating, and worth your time. (Then donate to the second one because I want to see it.)
