Never, ever, ever underestimate the Dollar Tree

First off, why on earth would anybody pay Reggie Jackson to endorse sunflower seeds? Sure, Reggie was a seminal figure in the history of baseball and sunflower seeds. But that was a long, long time ago, and I have to guess that the great majority of kids buying sunflower seeds these days have literally never heard of Reggie Jackson, who after all is at least 40 years old.

But someone did recently pay Reggie Jackson to endorse sunflower seeds! And you don’t have to buy an empty bag on eBay!

How do I know? Because I’m chewing some right now! Just two days ago, I purchased my very own bag of Reggie’s Sunflower Seeds (Ballpark Style!) at this Dollar Tree in Portland. They were a dollar.
