Feeding the ultimate troll

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I don’t read everything that Paul Lukas writes. Not even about baseball, even though I think Paul’s great and of course I’ve an unhealthy fascination with baseball uniforms. I’ve just gotten into the habit of reading everything via links on Twitter, and somehow I miss most of the UniWatch tweets. Even about baseball.

Which is a roundabout way of explaining how I missed reading about when Paul Lukas fed a troll. I mean, really fed a troll. A pretty terrible, disgusting troll.

Joe’s persona is so over the top, so extreme, that I long ago decided it had to be a pose. I eventually came to think of it as a sort of online performance art project. I secretly hoped that Joe was actually gay, or a teen-ager, or a middle-aged woman, because that would make the pose, and therefore the project, even better.

I recently decided it was time to interview Joe...

And so he did, and you should read about it.

I finally found out about this last weekend, when I heard Paul being interviewed by Bob Garfield. I recommend the two-fer.
