Investing in Lincecum no-hitter stub futures

Because it’s the way of the world, ticket stubs (well, they’re not really stubs anymore) for last night’s Tim Lincecum no-hitter are now showing up for sale or auction. Before you purchase such an item, you might be wondering if such a thing has any investment value. Based on other no-hitter stubs sold recently - especially the ones from the no-tear/scan era -- I would say the answer is “not necessarily.”
