Brian Dozier’s singular play

Dozier's 26, has started 158 games in the majors, and features a .287 career on-base percentage. There's a good chance that he's never going to hit. Last year he played shortstop decently (at best) and didn't hit at all, which made him a sub-standard major leaguer. Wisely, the Twins moved him. This year he's played second base quite well and hit a little, which has actually made him a good major leaguer. Assuming a typical career arc, Dozier should remain a solid performer for at least another two or three seasons. The Twins have a lot of problems, but Dozier's not one of them.
