The postcard Citizens Bank Park deserves

eBay Item of the Day

If Citizens Bank Park had opened in 1914 and not 2004, and they had published a postcard for it 30 years later in 1944, this is how we figure it would have looked. It would have used the linen style - not the more realistic presentation of today -- and measured 3 ½ by 5 ½, not the modern standard of 4 by 6. (See if you can figure out the exact moment this photo was snapped. It can be done.)

This is Part VI in our ongoing series of modern postcards repurposed to look as though they represent the style of the retro ballparks. The previous entries.
