Jose Fernandez hits, still watching first home run

Jose Fernandez is a pitcher. Pitchers do not hit a lot of home runs. As such, they might be a little unaware of the protocol and social mores regarding proper dinger etiquette.

So how did Fernandez handle his first career home run?

Oh. Oh, my.

And while rounding the bases, he hocked a wingdoodle at Chris Johnson’s feet.

This led to baseball-related pushing.

Well, if you’re going to break some unwritten rules, break the absolute hell out of them, that’s what I say. If it was hard to believe Jose Fernandez was just 21, it sure isn’t now. At least he isn’t boring.
