The Pirates technically clinched one of the wild-card slots with a Nationals loss, which is kind of lame, but here’s how they got to their 90th win just a little bit before:

That’s a pretty nifty metaphor for the entire season. Some screw-ups, but everything turned out okay, and Andrew McCutchen did something exciting to help the Pirates win. And exciting as all hell. Good work, Pirates
