Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, 2013 El Clasico: Madrid lead 3-0 thanks to Raphael Varane

Update: Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona, full time.

Raphael Varane has finished off the game for Real Madrid with a headed goal that was reminiscent of his goal in the first leg. Madrid now lead 3-0 and this one is all but over.

David Villa finally entered the match after Cristiano Ronaldo's second goal, much to the pleasure of the Barcelona supporters who had been loudly chanting his name just minutes before.

It didn’t help.

In the 69th minute the start of the first leg Raphael Varane scored Real Madrid's third goal of the day and put the tie to bed. It came on a corner and much like he did in the first leg, Varane towered over the Barcelona defense, it was Carles Puyol today, and emphatically headed the ball into the upper right corner of the net.

Just a comprehensive performance from Real Madrid as they have put together a magnificent team effort and have completely smashed Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Barca may win the league but there are going to be a ton of questions being asked about Tito Vilanova and Jordi Roura's tactical choices and the play of the team in general.
