Valencia vs. Barcelona: Lineups

The last time Valencia played an elite side at the Mestalla, they got the [fun] stomped out of them by Real Madrid. What's going to happen when they have to go up against Tito Villanova's Barcelona? Hint: Bad, bad things.

The hosts are in their typical 4-2-3-1 with Andres Guardado on the left, a move that'll please fans of the Mexico national team, but expect Tino Costa to do his fair share of defending as Barcelona's midfield controls possession. The leaders are playing pretty much as one might expect, so no surprises there.

Valencia (4-2-3-1): Vicente Guaita; Aly Cissokho, Adil Rami, Victor Ruiz, Joao Perreira; Ricardo Costa, Ever Banega; Andres Guardado, Tino Casta, Juan Bernat; Roberto Soldado.

Substitutes from: Diego Alves, Antonio Barragan, David Albelda, Sergio Canales, Jonas, Pablo Piatti, Nelson Valdez.

Barcelona (4-3-3): Victor Valdes; Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Javier Macherano, Dani Alves; Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Cesc Fabregas; Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Pedro.

Substitutes from: José Manuel Pinto, Carles Puyol, Alexis Sánchez, Thiago, Adriano, Alex Song, David Villa.
